Find Your Way Back To Calm
Coaching and resources for parents raising gifted, twice-exceptional (2e), PDA / ADHD children and teens.
If parenting your child feels impossible to figure out, you're not alone…
Parenting a gifted, twice-exceptional (2e), PDA / ADHD child or teen can be one of the most challenging and isolating experiences a parent can have.
You may recognize some of this:
- Your child may hold a sophisticated conversation one moment and fall apart over something simple the next.
- They can be highly intellectual, funny, and creative — and also intensely emotional, perfectionistic, and strong-willed.
- They may thrive on structure and crave novelty at the same time, with a nervous system that strongly resists everyday demands.
- Organizational systems work well at first, but soon begin to fall apart.
- They may hold it together outside the home, only to unravel in the place they feel safest.
Highly capable one minute and unable the next, leaving you wondering: What am I supposed to do here?
To add to the complexity, conventional parenting advice doesn’t just fall short — it often makes things worse. You’re not imagining any of this. You’re navigating parenting and family dynamics that most people around you may not fully understand.
What if things could Be different?
Understand what's really going on
So you’re not guessing or second-guessing yourself all the time.
More calm in your day-to-day
Less tension, fewer power struggles, more steadiness in how your respond.
More connection, less conflict
Without relying on pressure, rewards, or constant negotiations.
Feel confident as a parent
Knowing how to respond in the moments that used to throw you off.
Parenting a gifted PDA or ADHD child is undoubtedly challenging
— but it doesn't have to feel this hard forever.
It can be difficult to see a clear path when you’re in the thick of it, but there is one.
My role is to help you find it in a way that makes sense for your unique family.
Hi, I'm Divya
I’m so glad you’re here!
I created Connected Minds Parenting to support parents navigating the complexity of raising gifted, twice-exceptional (2e), PDA, and ADHD children and teens — helping them better understand their child’s unique profile, nervous system, and needs, and find an approach that genuinely fits their family.
I came to this work both as a professional and as a parent navigating the beautiful, complex, and often exhausting experience of raising a child who experiences the world differently.
Our work together is a supportive, judgment-free, neurodiversity-affirming space where we slow things down, make sense of what’s really going on beneath the surface, and discover what actually works for your child and your family.
As your understanding and skills deepen, and you become more anchored in your approach, you’ll be better able to navigate challenges with greater clarity, connection, and confidence.
I’m deeply passionate about helping parents build strong, authentic relationships with their children — relationships rooted in safety, trust, mutual respect, and genuine connection rather than fear, control, or performance.
